Practice with Uptown Swing!

Uptown Swing hosts a practice/social dance every two weeks in the Upper Hall at St Barnabas Church in Dalston. We know how hard it can be to transfer what you learn in class to the social floor so this event is designed to help students get together and try stuff out. No pressure to be “good” or to get things “right”. The night is all about social dancing, practising, chatting and geeking out about all things Lindy Hop. We will often have at least one of the Uptown Teachers there to answer your questions and offer some friendly advice if it’s asked for. To cover the cost of hiring the space we just ask that everyone sticks £5 into the tin.
