New Beginners Course starts in January! Bookings are open!

Make it your new year’s resolution to learn to dance! Our next course runs every Thursday from 11th January in Highbury.

Our beginners course gives you all the basics to get you dancing the swing dance style known as Lindy Hop. Aimed at those with no previous experience, we guide you through the basic footwork and figures that will enable you to hit the dance floor with a partner. You will learn 6 count, 8 count and Charleston rhythms, the core Lindy Hop repertoire, and the key principles of lead & follow partner dance. You’ll get the best teaching in town, and you’ll make some great friends!

We teach in pre-paid termly blocks to ensure good progress and a solid foundation. The full course fee is £110 for 12 weeks – but you don’t have to commit until you’ve tried the first class. So come along on 11th January and try it out – you can pay £10 for the first drop in class and we will refund this if you book the course.

You don’t have to book with a partner as we rotate partners in class. However we do separate bookings into “Leaders” and “Followers” and we monitor this to ensure balance in the class, but note that you don’t have to be a man to lead or a woman to follow!
